Make your tacos crispy and more fun to eat! Low-carb baked beef tacos are really easy twist on a classic recipe.
What Are Baked Tacos
Tacos have to be one of the best food things ever invented. Spicy meat, cheese, and crispy lettuce in a tortilla – yes, please!
Most of the time, tacos are served in either a crispy or soft shell that you can hold in your hand. Baked tacos are a wee bit different. Baked tacos are filled your favorite taco meat and cheese, then the tortillas are folded and baked.
The result is a crispy shell with lots of melted cheese inside of it! It’s the best kind of compromise if you can’t decide whether you want a hard or soft shell.

Best Meat For Tacos
Is there a specific type of meat that’s best for tacos? No, there isn’t.
Feel free to use your favorite type of meat in the tacos. In fact, this is a great way to use up leftover keto Chipotle chicken or save yourself time and use shredded rotisserie chicken.
Or make meatless tacos. Fill the tacos with some cauliflower rice, mushrooms, zucchini, and lots of cheese. Then, bake them enjoy!
Keto Taco Toppings
What do you like to add to your tacos? I kept these simple so that you can have room to be as creative as you want!
These baked tacos are filled with just beef, onion, and cheese. Fill the tacos with some diced tomatoes and cauliflower rice.
After they’re baked, add some shredded lettuce and sliced avocados to them. Then, dip them in some cream for a finishing touch!
Storing Them
Baked beef tacos fit in perfectly with your weekly meal prep. Store the baked tacos in an airtight food storage container.
Place them in the refrigerator and they will stay fresh for about three days. The trick is to keep them crispy.
You can eat them cold, but if you want to heat them up, I suggest using a skillet or an air fryer. If you use the microwave, they will soften.
