This slow cooker beef curry will fill your kitchen with the spicy-sweet aromas of beef and curry. Kids love this simple dinner recipe too!
Beef Curry for Slow Cooker
Grab your slow cooker, this is one of the easiest dinner recipes you will make for your family. You literally just place all the ingredients in the Crockpot, turn it on, cover with the lid, and let it cook all day!
If your kids don’t like trying food from other countries, you can make the curry milder by using less curry powder. The rest of the ingredients are pretty familiar – just some tomatoes, carrots, beef, and creamy sauce.
Keto Beef Curry
It’s actually surprising, but there are only five grams net carbs in each serving! Most of the carbs come from the tomatoes and carrots. You can decrease that number even more by omitting the carrots.
Carrots are so good for you that I suggest you leave them in. Plus, they naturally sweeten the curry without having to add any sweetener.
Beef Curry
Since the beef will simmer all day in the slow cooker, you can use stew meat in it. This is fantastic news because stew meat is usually a tougher cut (which is why they sell it for a lower price).
You can always add more spices to this recipe if you want it to be bolder or spicier. Turmeric and coriander are classic Indian spices that taste perfect with curry.
I used canned tomatoes, but this is a wonderful way to use garden tomatoes if you have a bunch from the garden or farmer’s market.
Keto Beef Curry Coconut Milk
This beef curry recipe is naturally dairy-free. I love making this recipe when I am hosting guests because it’s a really impressive dish that actually takes almost no time at all.
Plus, it is a wonderful meal to make when you are worried about food allergies. It’s made with mild flavors and no dairy, gluten, or nuts.
Remember to use canned coconut milk in this recipe, not refrigerated coconut milk from the carton. The canned coconut milk has more fat in it and will make the curry richer and creamier.
What To Eat With Curry
Since this is such a flavorful main dish, you’ll want to pair it with something mild. A side dish like cauliflower rice will soak up the flavor and give you a filling vegetable too.
Either heat up some steamable cauliflower rice or make keto curry cauliflower rice with similar flavors and spices.
Serve it with a side salad and almondine asparagus, and you have a feast for a meal!
If you want to serve a flatbread with it, I suggest adding a touch of sweetness to the table. Keto cranberry brie flatbread is savory and sweet at the same time and tastes incredible with beef curry.

Can this be made stovetop? I tried another slow cooker recipe with coconut milk and the coconut milk separated in the slow cooker, so I want to try a different way.
