There is more to this dip than just bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes! This keto BLT dip is made with cream cheese and a tasty blend of spices.
BLT Dip
Parties, lunch, or a snack when you’re feeling pretty snacky, a creamy BLT dip is a perfect thing to eat when you don’t know exactly what you’re craving.
You start out with a base of rich cream cheese, then add some tanginess to it with a little mayonnaise. There are a lot of ways to make it taste different too! Want it spicier? Add a splash of Tabasco.
Want it to have a bit more crunch? Add more lettuce and bacon.
BLT Dip With Cream Cheese
There are 4 grams net carbs in each serving of this dip, and the dip makes six servings. Since the bulk of this dip is made with cream cheese, it’s a high-fat recipe that will fill you up!
Do you have kids that don’t like to eat their veggies? Make them this dip! It’s filled with lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and topped with green onions.
It’s a really tasty dip that’s good for them too.
Whenever you need to whip cream cheese, always let it soften at room temperature first. I suggest letting it sit out for about 30 minutes before you start adding all the other ingredients.
Cream cheese is really difficult to mix up when it’s really cold.
Keto Crackers
If you’re following a low-carb or keto diet, then I suggest using pork rinds or another low-carb/keto-friendly cracker. Buying store-bought will save you a lot of time. But I love making my own at home because I can make them taste exactly how I want.
This recipe for keto cheese crackers is super easy and tasty.
For a fun combination of flavors, make some Keto Pizza Crackers to dip into the BLT dip!
How To Store Homemade Dip
If you want to make this ahead of time, I suggest storing it before you add the tomatoes, green onions, or lettuce. Add those right before you serve the dip so that they stay fresh and crispy.
Store the homemade dip in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to two days.
If you have leftover dip, I suggest only keeping it for about a day. After a day, the lettuce and green onions will become too soft.
Easy Keto Dip
It’s a lot easier (and quicker) to make this dip if you use a food processor or even a stand mixer. You can definitely mix everything with a wooden spoon too, but a mixer saves you a lot of time and energy.
This is a tasty dip that’s perfect for eating or serving any time of year!
