The secret to tasty keto Big Mac roll-ups is the keto Big Mac Sauce. These crispy cheese roll-ups can be a lunch or appetizer.
Big Mac Roll Ups
These crispy roll-ups really satisfy your craving for Big Macs! They are made with a lot of the same ingredients – cheese, ground beef, pickles, and lettuce – and covered in a similar sauce too.
Each roll-up only has 2 grams net carbs! Eat a few of them for lunch. They are so filling that it’ll knock that burger craving right out.
Keto Big Mac Sauce
My favorite thing about these roll-ups is the sauce. Save it, cause you can use it on top of chopped salad, or as a dip for your favorite low-carb veggies.
To make Big Mac sauce that’s keto-friendly, you just need to combine some mayo, dill pickle relish and sugar-free ketchup. Since McDonald’s Big Mac sauce is kinda sweet, I suggest sweetening this sauce with some Swerve Confectioner’s Sugar substitute.
When you use relish, make sure you’re using dill pickle relish. Sweet relish has sugar in it.
Keto Big Mac
In order to make it taste just like a Big Mac, I suggest using ground beef. If you want to add more flavor to the roll-ups, you can mix in some country sausage with ground beef.
Ground turkey or ground chicken could also work, but I suggest adding a bit more Worcestershire sauce to flavor it. Ground turkey and chicken are so lean that they contain a milder flavor than ground beef or ground pork.
Cheese Roll Up
I love making cheese roll-ups. They take less then 10 minutes to crisp up to perfection and have basically no carbs. Cheese is better for you than processed low-carb tortillas and taste better than large-leaf lettuce.
The only downside to these Big Mac Roll-ups is that they don’t save very well. If you want to eat leftovers later, store them in an airtight food storage container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
It’s best to make and store the dressing separately from the filling ingredients and then make the cheese wraps fresh. That way, all you have to do is bake the cheese wraps and heat up the filling and dressing and then assemble it all together!
Easy Keto Lunch
I love munching on them for lunch. If you want more crispy food to eat with it, I suggest making some loaded cauliflower bites. Or make some keto-friendly Italian breadsticks to eat with the roll-ups.
Make a bowl of keto Mediterranean tuna salad for something that’s also high in fat and filling.
