Keto Milkshake
This sweet, pink milkshake is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Whether you make them for yourself, your kids, or your soulmate, this milkshake is perfect for everyone.
Yes, even kids love it! They can’t even tell it’s a sugar-free, low-carb dessert. Since it doesn’t have any processed sugar in it, this milkshake is so much better for your kids than anything they can order from a drive through.
Valentine’s Day Milkshake
What makes this keto milkshake extra delicious is the fresh strawberries! When you blend real strawberries in with the ice cream and vanilla extract, you’ll get a naturally-sweetened milkshake.
Save a few strawberries and use them as garnish! Either place them on top of the whipped cream or add them to the inside of the cup. Or do both!
Don’t forget about the sprinkles! If you can, try to use sugar-free sprinkles. If you can’t find sugar-free sprinkles, here is a fun tip. Take some keto-friendly granular sweetener and dye it with red food coloring.
Then, sprinkle it on top of the whipped cream.
Strawberry Milkshake
Strawberries are a fruit that you can eat in moderation on the keto diet. I used them to make keto-friendly jello shots. They are one of the types of fruit with the least amount of carbs, but you should still be careful with how many you eat.
If you follow my recipe and only use one cup of sliced fresh strawberries, you’ll make a milkshake with only 5 grams net carbs. My recipe makes 4 servings, so split it evenly between four different cups.
Is Ice Cream Keto
Most types of ice cream and definitely not keto-friendly! They are sugary assaults on your insulin levels. Thankfully, there are a lot of low-carb ice cream options you can buy.
To make this recipe, I used Rebel vanilla ice cream. Other brands I love included Enlightened Keto, Halo Top, and Arctic Zero.
Remember, if you use any other type of ice cream that isn’t Rebel vanilla, you’ll have to recalculate the macros for this recipe.
Keto Valentine’s Day Dinner
This is the perfect dessert to serve with your Valentine’s Day dinner. Start out with some Japanese hamburger steaks with Garlic butter cauliflower rice on the side.
Then, you can really indulge in some keto-friendly desserts to end the night.
Make some keto cheesecake stuffed strawberries with some keto strawberry lemon blondies. It’s a dreamy, romantic dinner that won’t kick you out of ketosis!
