Easy Shrimp Alfredo
It’s pretty impressive when you can make a dinner everyone loves in less than 30 minutes. That’s exactly why this recipe is so amazing.
Shrimp tastes perfect when you smother it in this rich and cheesy sauce. There are just 2 grams net carbs in each serving, so you have room for some Palmini noodles or an extra helping of shrimp alfredo.
One way to enhance this alfredo sauce’s flavor without any extra effort is to sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley on top. Every bite will be bursting with fresh, herbaceous flavors.
Keto Shrimp Alfredo
To save yourself extra time, buy shrimp that is already peeled and deveined with the tails off. All that extra effort takes more time.
The best thing about cooking shrimp is that it cooks super quickly. The most time-consuming part of this recipe is making the alfredo sauce. Trust me; every minute is worth it.
After making homemade alfredo sauce, you’ll never go back to store-bought sauce again.
Shrimp Alfredo With Spinach
Spinach is a really simple vegetable that becomes a seamless part of the creamy alfredo sauce. It wilts beautifully and you don’t even notice it while you eat.
This leafy green veggie is notoriously nutritious! It’s a fantastic source of iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C. This is a wonderful way to boost your children’s immune systems naturally.
Instead of spinach, add some broccoli florets or use fresh arugula for a peppery note.
Healthy Alfredo Sauce Recipe
Save this recipe for the alfredo sauce! You can use it again in lots of other recipes. Use just the sauce without meat as a topping for broccoli or cauliflower. Kids love it!
Use it as a dipping sauce for garlic knots. Or, replace the shrimp with some grilled chicken strips and you have tasty chicken alfredo.
When it comes to the broth (the base of the sauce) you can use either chicken stock or chicken broth. You can even use vegetable broth in its place.
What To Eat With Alfredo
Easy shrimp alfredo is such a rich entree that you should serve lighter things with it. Gluten-free keto breadsticks are the perfect side dish. Kids love to dip the breadsticks in the white cheese sauce.
Pour the alfredo sauce over Palmini noodles or make some tasty butternut squash noodles instead.
Start out dinner with a copycat Olive Garden chopped salad. It has the same delicious vinaigrette dressing and you can top it with as much shredded parmesan as you want!
