    Keto Cheesy Pickle Chips

    Jump to Recipe Pin

These oven baked cheesy pickle chips have just 1 gram net carb in each serving! They’re made with cheese, pickles, and spices.

    What Are Pickle Chips

Pickle chips are an easy and delicious keto-friendly snack. They satisfy that craving for something crunchy and salty, without going over on your carbs.

    Keto Cheesy Pickle Chips

There are a bunch of different ways to make pickle chips. Some pickle chips are basically dehydrated pickles.

Others bread the pickles and fry them until they are crispy. In this recipe, I placed sliced pickles and placed them on top of shredded cheese.

Then I baked them until the cheese and pickles are perfectly crispy. This gives you a combination of flavors that enhance and elevate each other.

    Shopping List

Before you make your keto cheesy pickle chips, this is what you’ll need from the store.

    • Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
    • Dill Pickle Slices
    • Chili Powder
    • Garlic Powder
    • Paprika

    Keto-Friendly Pickles

Be careful when you buy pickles. Not all pickles are keto-friendly.

All you have to do is read the ingredient’s list. As long as you don’t see sugar or syrup as an ingredient, it’s low-carb.

The exact ingredient amounts are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post. The best way to change this recipe is to use different kinds of pickles.

Go to the farmer’s market and buy new flavors. Try it with ranch pickles or horseradish pickles.

You can even make the chips with some pickled banana peppers sprinkled on top.

    Oven-Baked Chips

I made these chips in the oven and they came out perfectly crispy. They only take about 10 minutes to get perfectly crispy.

But you can make them in the air fryer, too.

If you want to make them in the cup shape, then use a muffin tin that fits in your air fryer’s basket. And since you’re making them in a muffin tin, they are the perfect shape to use your favorite low-carb dips.

They will taste amazing with keto queso fundido and low-carb cottage cheese queso.

    Keto Snacks

Serve these chips along with your favorite keto appetizers and snacks at a party or when you’re feeling hungry in between meals.

Your keto snacks should be high in fat, because that is what will keep you feeling full. Keto cheesecake stuffed strawberries are a good source of fat and vitamins.

Keto cottage cheese strawberry ice cream is another way to satisfy that sweet tooth. For something savory, make low-carb baked beef tacos.

    How To Store Pickle Chips

Normally, you can store chips at room temperature but since these chips are made with cheese, I suggest storing them in an airtight bag and keeping them in the refrigerator.

They will stay fresh for about a week. Yes, you can freeze the chips, too.

Store the pickle chips in an airtight freezer-safe bag and keep them in the freezer for up to six months.

    Making Them

Here are the step-by-step pictures of the process that you’ll follow to make these delicious keto cheesy pickle chips.

All of the ingredients and instructions are located in the printable recipe card just a little bit further below.
