Make a big batch of keto bacon and cheese biscuits for breakfast or serve them on the side with your next family dinner.
Keto Biscuits
There is something Heavenly about hot and fresh biscuits. They melt in your mouth and have the perfect amount of crumbs. That’s why I set out to create a keto-friendly recipe for biscuits. This recipe smells amazing as it bakes in the oven!
You can literally smell the combination of bacon and cheese. I love sharing these biscuits with my family.
There are a lot of different ways to eat these biscuits too. Eat them on their own for breakfast on the go. Serve them as a side dish with your favorite steak recipe. Or use them as the base for a delicious biscuits and gravy recipe.
These biscuits taste just like others made with wheat flour – but with only 3 grams net carbs in each biscuit, you can enjoy them guilt-free!
Keto Bacon and Cheese Biscuits
These incredible biscuits are made with real bacon pieces mixed right into the batter. Remember to only use sugar-free bacon, not any made with maple syrup. You can also use turkey bacon instead.
I used cheddar jack cheese because it really gives the biscuits a bold flavor. If you don’t like spicy cheese, use just regular cheddar cheese instead. You don’t need any xanthan gum in these biscuits because the combination of cream cheese, eggs, and cheddar cheese holds everything together really well.
Keto Breakfast Biscuits
These are my favorite keto breakfast biscuits of all time. All the flavors bake together perfectly and fill each bite with so much flavor. Cut them in half and add a fried egg or your favorite cheesy scrambled eggs.
Top with another slice of bacon and you have the perfect keto breakfast sandwich! You can also read some sugar-free jam on top for a little sweet and salty combination that is out of this world.
Almond Flour Biscuits
When you make almond flour biscuits, remember to use almond flour, not almond meal. Almond meal is made with bits of almond skins mixed in, which will make the biscuits taste grainy.
When you use almond flour, the biscuits always turn out perfectly! I would not try to use coconut flour instead because the consistency will change.
Gluten-Free Biscuits
These gluten-free biscuits are the perfect things to serve at large dinner parties. You never know who is sensitive to gluten, and these are naturally gluten-free.
Plus, you don’t have to roll out the biscuits – they are more like drop biscuits. That makes them some of the easiest biscuits you will ever make. In fact, they are so easy to make that your kids can help you in the kitchen.
