    What Are Italian Christmas Cookies

There are actually a lot of different kinds of cookies that are considered traditional Italian Christmas cookies. This post explains the differences really well.

    Keto Italian Christmas Cookies

Most American versions of Italian cookies resemble Amaretti cookies. They are round, taste like almonds, and have a crumbly or cake-like texture.

You’ll find a lot of recipes that use anise extract in both the cookies and the icing on top. Then, they are decorated with sprinkles or nonpareils.

This keto recipe tastes just like a classic Italian Christmas cookie, but with just a few ingredient swaps. You’ll love how they taste!

    Shopping List

You’ll need this from the store before you make a batch of keto Italian Christmas cookies. There are two parts – the cookies and the glaze.
