Make your favorite childhood treat in a gluten-free and keto-friendly way! Pork rind muddy buddies are just as tasty as you remember.
What Are Muddy Buddies
They go by a lot of different names – puppy chow, muddy munch, and monkey munch are just a few of the most common ones. Muddy buddies are basically cereal that is tossed in melted chocolate chips, peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract.
These ingredients create a sweet and sticky topping that coats the cereal pieces. To make keto-friendly muddy buddies, I used pork rinds instead of cereal, and used sugar-free ingredients for the rest of it.
There are just four grams net carbs in each serving of these tasty snack!

How Long Do Muddy Buddies Last
Muddy buddies will stay fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for about five days. They will taste best when you eat them fresh, so eat them within three days.
Refrigerating the muddy buddies isn’t recommended. It won’t make them last longer and it will change the flavor.
