Sweet and creamy – just like store-bought – these keto chocolate peanut butter eggs are the perfect Easter treat for kids and adults.

What Are Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

Have you seen those individually wrapped Reese’s peanut butter eggs? Well, I created a keto-friendly recipe that tastes just like them!

    Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

Sweet, creamy peanut butter is covered in a chocolate shell and topped with Easter sprinkles. This is a fun dessert to share with kids on Easter. There are just 3 grams net carbs in each egg, so you have room to indulge a bit, too!

    Shopping List

Before you make keto chocolate peanut butter eggs, this is what you’ll need from the store. All of the exact ingredient amounts are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.

Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs Ingredients

    • Butter
    • Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
    • Swerve Confectioner’s Sugar Substitute
    • Vanilla
    • Lily’s Semi-Sweet Baking Chips
    • Coconut Oil
    • Easter Sprinkles

    Best Keto-Friendly Peanut Butter

Always read the ingredients list before you buy the peanut butter. You might be shocked at how many different brands will sneak some kind of sugar into the peanut butter!

    Peanut Butter

I suggest using an all-natural creamy peanut butter. The crunchy kind will add a distracting texture.

And if you need to make a peanut-free version, use sunflower seed butter or almond butter. They are keto-friendly options that taste delicious with the chocolate coating.

    Keto Easter Recipes

It’s hard to say whether something is specifically an Easter recipe, but I have a few recipes that will taste perfect with these sweet peanut butter eggs.

    Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

If you have leftover Easter eggs, then make some keto egg salad with them! And since Easter bunnies like to eat carrots, a keto carrot mug cake is a delicious Easter dessert.

    Keto Desserts

Creamy keto chocolate peanut butter eggs will quickly become your favorite keto desserts and snacks! If you have a sweet tooth, then you’ll love a few of my other favorite low-carb sweet treats.

    Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

A keto berry cobbler skillet is deliciously sweet. And you can’t beat the flavor of a keto salted caramel lava cake.

Make some keto cheesecake stuffed strawberries when you want to eat something healthy that tastes like dessert. And if you’re really in the mood for something full of rich chocolate flavors, then a keto earthquake cake will hit the spot!

    Storing Them

Store leftover peanut butter eggs in an airtight container and keep them at room temperature. I suggest separating layers of the eggs with parchment paper or wax paper.

    Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

You can freeze the chocolate peanut butter eggs, too! Place them in a freezer-safe food storage bag and keep them in the freezer for up to six months.

To make them easier to grab and eat, wrap each egg individually in plastic wrap.
