    Keto Protein Everything Bagels are naturally low-carb and gluten-free! These easy everything bagels are perfect for keto sandwiches or a quick grab-and-go breakfast.

    What Are Everything Bagels 

    The name everything bagel refers to the seasonings that are on it. You can actually buy a seasoning mix that’s called “everything bagel seasoning.” 

    Keto Protein Everything Bagels

    This mix usually includes things like sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, garlic, and salt. The spice mixture might change depending on the brands you use.

    These bagels all have a similar flavor. They taste butter, salty, nutty and savory at the same time.

    • Cottage Cheese

    • Onion Powder

    Best Flour For Keto Bagels 

    When you bake keto-friendly recipes like this one, following the recipe as it is written is important. Unfortunately, you can’t swap coconut flour for almond flour in a 1:1 ratio.

    So, if you try to use the same amount of coconut flour in this bread, it will turn out too dry and won’t stick together as well. You’d have to add more butter and maybe another egg.

    I didn’t test this recipe with coconut flour. If you make it with coconut flour, please let me know how it turns out.   

    To make these tasty bagels, use almond flour. Don’t use almond meal; it will give the bagels a grainy texture.

    Gluten-Free Bagels 

    Since these bagels are made with almond flour, they are naturally gluten-free. That makes them the perfect things to serve anyone that has celiac. 

    Keto Protein Everything Bagels

    These bagels are also high in protein, too. The combination of almond flour and cottage cheese gives them a boost in protein and everyone on the keto diet needs to eat plenty of protein so their body stays in fat-burning mode! 

    What To Eat With Bagels 

    These bagels will taste delicious with some scrambled or fried eggs or an omelette for breakfast. Or enjoy a bagel with a keto pumpkin chocolate chip muffin.

    The bagels are very savory, so you might want to enjoy them with something sweet. Make a keto berry cobbler skillet or some keto apple hand pies with the bagels. 

    Storing Them 

    Store the bagels in an airtight container or food storage bag and keep them at room temperature for up to a week.

    Directions

    Cottage Cheese

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add the almond flour, cottage cheese, onion powder, baking powder, garlic powder
    and salt to a mixing bowl, and blend until well combined.

    Wet your hands slightly, and fill 8 sections of a well greased donut pan with the batter.

    Adding butter on top of unbaked bagels

    Brush the tops of each bagel with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with the Everything Bagel seasoning.

    Bake for 25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
