    Jump to Recipe Pin

Sweet and salty filling on top of a perfect almond crust, this low-carb pecan pie is a popular keto dessert recipe.

    Low-Carb Pecan Pie

Pecan pie is a staple dessert in the south. The super-sweet filling is overflowing with salty chopped pecans. It’s decadent and indulgent, and this low-carb version is just as sweet and tasty.

    Low-Carb Pecan Pie

This pecan filling has the same caramelized flavors as classic southern pecan pie. With rich, buttery flavors and the spice of vanilla and cinnamon, you’ll want to make this all year long, not just in the winter.

    Almond Flour Pie Crust

This pie crust is one of the best things about the low-carb pecan pie. It’s flavored with almond extract and sweetened with confectioner’s sugar substitute.

    Low-Carb Pecan Pie

You can use vanilla extract instead of almond extract, but I love how tasty the crust is when it tastes like almond.

You can even use this pie crust for other pie recipes too! Fill it with sugar-free pudding or use it as a crust for cheesecake. It’s naturally gluten-free. To make it completely dairy-free, use ghee instead of butter.

I used butter in both the crust and the filling. Use salted butter – the salt will enhance all the flavors in the pie.

    Are Pecans Keto

Yes, pecans are an excellent keto-friendly food. Just look at the nutrition information in one ounce of pecans:

    • 1 gram net carbs
    • 4 grams total carbs
    • 20 grams fat
    • 196 calories

That’s why I like to make different recipes with pecans. Keto spiced pecans are a popular party food, and cranberry pecan chicken salad is a fantastic lunch.

    Keto Pecan Pie

If you make this pecan pie ahead of time, store it in an airtight container or seal it tightly with aluminum foil. Keep it refrigerated for up to a week.

You can also freeze the pie. Wrap it up in both plastic wrap and aluminum foil and store it in the freezer for up to six months. Let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight before you serve it.

    Low-Carb Pie

There are a bunch of different ways to make this low-carb pie and different ways to serve it. This recipe will make a 9×9 pie. You could also make mini pecan pies in a smaller pie plates.

    Low-Carb Pecan Pie

Serve this pecan pie like it is or top it with some whipped cream or keto-friendly ice cream. This entire pie only takes about 45 minutes to make from start to finish. It’s super-easy and delicious!

Give this low-carb pie away as homemade gifts or serve it at holiday dinner parties.
