This is the ultimate keto game day snack and make ahead appetizer! Bacon wrapped pickles are incredibly easy to make and munch on.
What Are Bacon Wrapped Pickles
Just like the name implies, these are a tasty snack or a fun appetizer. You literally wrap bacon around dill pickle spears and then air fry them!
Yes, you can wrap raw bacon around pickles, they will cook completely in the air fryer. How you cut the pickles is entirely up to you.
I cut the spears into thirds so that they are easier to snack on during a Big Game party. When they are this small, you can also add them on top of your favorite salad, too.
Shopping List
Before you make your keto bacon wrapped pickles, this is what you’ll need from the store. All of the exact ingredient amounts are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Dill Pickle Spears
- Bacon
- Ranch Dressing
- Sriracha
Best Keto Dipping Sauce
I made my own dipping sauce by mixing ranch dressing with Sriracha. The result is a spicy ranch dressing that works really well with the bold vinegar flavors in the pickles.
Other keto dipping sauces that will taste good with the pickles include sugar-free BBQ sauce and even homemade queso. Try it with any of your favorite sugar-free sauces, I bet you’ll love it!
Pickle Appetizers
When I think of pickles, appetizers and snacks always comes to mind. Everyone loved my keto ham and pickle roll-ups, so I’m pretty confident that this will be a huge hit for you, too.
Remember to use regular bacon, not thick-cut. And cut the bacon into thirds so that you aren’t wrapping it around the pickle spear more than twice.
This will help the bacon cook properly.
Make Ahead Appetizers
You can air fryer your bacon wrapped pickles up to a few days ahead of time. Store them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days.
When you’re ready to serve them again, just pop them in the air fryer and heat them at 325F for about 6 minutes. They will taste crispy, hot, and fresh!
Keto Game Day Snacks
Serve your bacon wrapped pickles at your next party! I have a bunch of keto appetizers that will taste delicious with them.
Starting with Keto everything bagel bites are the perfect choice! Then, add some Keto Shrimp Croquettes to the table with Keto loaded cauliflower rice balls.
And for something sweet, you can’t go wrong with keto no-bake pumpkin pie bites. They taste delicious any time of year!
