This is a fun recipe to make with your kids. If they are old enough/able to, they can even help brown the Italian sausage. Most of the steps involve pouring the ingredients into the casserole dish.

When you buy pizza sauce or marinara sauce, always read the ingredients label first. Make sure you buy a kind without any extra sugar added to it.

You could even make your own marinara or pizza sauce. All you need is some tomato sauce with your favorite spices.

This is a very mild recipe. If you want it to taste spicier, I suggest adding some red pepper flakes.

For the noodles, I used Palmini noodles.  You could use spaghetti squash, butternut squash noodles, or even zucchini noodles instead.

Serve your favorite Italian sides with this baked spaghetti dish. Start out with Low-Carb Shaved Brussels Sprouts With Cranberries. This chopped salad has both sweet and tangy flavors and It’s crunchy and tastes wonderful with this savory dish.

If you want a warmer side, then make some Loaded Cauliflower Mash. It’s cheesy and filling and has the most incredible toppings.
